REVIEW: Heimish Bulgarian Rose Water Hydrogel Eye Patch

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year. I know its been awhile but things have been very hectic. I wanted to start off the new year with a product review, which is something that I have not posted before. I will go through and talk about the product, my experience with it, tell you whether I recommend it or not and give you a list of places you can buy it from.

Claims

These patches are advertised for tired eyes. They are supposed to not only brighten dark circles under eyes, but also help skin stay firm and bouncy. The star ingredient is Bulgarian rose water (one of my favorites). Bulgarian Rose water is full of skin-benefiting vitamins and minerals, plus ultra-hydrating and anti-inflammatory properties. Their unique highly elastic hydro-gel material allows essence to fully absorb into skin for maximum benefits. They can be used anywhere skin needs extra care such as forehead and cheeks. They are in the shape of parentheses, for lack of a better description.

In The Box

Each jar comes with 60 pieces and a spatula to get them out because they are quite slippery and covered in gel. The price is about $20.00 depending on where you buy them from.

Experience

I have had these now for a few months and still haven’t finished the whole jar but I would say I am about 75% through. I really like these they definitely pep up your skin and help with puffiness around the eyes. I would say that they do help reduce the blue/purple color of your dark eye circles.  They have a few key ingredients that help with this. Bulgarian Rose water is an anti inflammatory and Niacinmide. Niacinmide is also known as vitamin B3 and nicotinamide, it is a water-soluble vitamin that works with the natural substances in your skin to help visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines and wrinkles, dullness, and a weakened surface. Niacin has strong science showing it diminished melanin formation, which means it helps lighten the dark circles.

These patches are  pretty awesome jelly things that are suppose to completely dissolve into your skin if you leave them on long enough leaving 0 waste products. I have never had them completely dissolve, leaving them on for about 20-30 minutes. That is what the directions tell you to do. They do however shrink and become dryer. When you remove them you are supposed to just lightly rub in the remaining gel into your skin. You can then put cream over it and do your make-up if you so desire.

Overall

I would recommend these. I really wanted to try the hydrogel patches previously but a lot of them are very expensive and that doesn’t necessarily mean they will have the results they claim to have. I figured I would ease in by trying a cheaper alternative which has pretty good reviews online. I think these are great for the price. I love rose water and think it’s a wonderful ingredient.  They have a nice cooling effect (more so if you keep them in the fridge), they hydrate the skin make it a little more plump and definitely help with the puffiness and color of the under-eye circles. Are they a miracle worker? No. They do not get rid of all of the color of my dark circles (though mine are pretty bad) and they do not 100% de-puff the eye. Though They definitely help. I think these would work maybe 100% for someone with less intense under-eye circles.  Though I will tell you the other morning I was getting ready after sleeping in late and put these on while I was drinking my coffee. I sat there for like 30 minutes drinking my coffee, which is my morning ritual. I took off the patches and my eyes looked considerably better, a lot less puffy and a lot less purple. When I did my make-up they they looked amazing! I will tell you, these are also just very convenient and each to use, you can throw them on while getting ready and then take them off right before make-up time.
